Overview
This quickstart guide explains how to create, configure, and navigate your new Sphere by Crux account. Prospective users can try Sphere by Crux for free to evaluate if It meets their business needs.
1. Sign up for Sphere by Crux - Managed Service
Go to https://www.cruxdata.com/contact to reach out to our team to better understand your business needs.
2. Accept the email invitation to the Crux application
The Crux team will send you an invitation to join your new organization. As a trial user, you will have access to the Crux Catalog. You will begin browsing data integrations.
3. Work with our Customer Success team to begin onboarding data
Our Customer Success team is here to seamlessly onboard the external data that matters to you and deliver it to your target destinations. The Crux team will reach out to create an onboarding plan that fits your needs. As part of identifying your datasets, you can explore the Crux Catalog to become familiar with Crux's prebuilt data products.
4. Accept the email invitation to Zendesk
The Crux team will send you an invitation to join your organization's Zendesk workspace. Sphere by Crux - Managed Service customers can view support tickets, which will ensure seamless communication and transparency about data operations.
5. Monitor your datasets in the Health Dashboard
After your data has been onboarded, login to the Crux app and go to the Health Dashboard to monitor your active datasets and follow along to gain visibility into the health of your datasets. If there is an issue with your dataset, click on the View Support Ticket link to better understand the issue in Zendesk using your newly created credentials.
6. Opt into notification policies for dataset events
In the Crux app, go to Settings and Notifications to create custom notification rules for your preferred delivery channels.
7. Use the Crux Catalog to see what data products your organization is entitled to
Continue exploring the world of prebuilt data products offered by Crux's library of data products and datasets provided by suppliers.
8. Invite your teammates into your organization
For Admin users, go to Settings and Users to add more users to your organization.
9. Reach out for help, if needed
In the Crux app, click on the info icon in the navigation menu to chat directly with the Crux team. Please ask any questions and provide feedback about your experience, including any suggestions.
