Connections overview

Learn about the different types of connections and how to use them.

Connections store information about data source and data destination endpoints. Each data source connection defines the method used to establish the communication channel required to access and transfer data. You may select file-based destinations (SFTP, FTP, S3, GCS) or warehouse-based destinations (BigQuery, Snowflake) depending on how you would like to interact with your data.

You may create connections any time by visiting the Connections menu, or as part of the onboarding wizard when creating a new Data Product.
