Destination Connections

Once your data product is filtered, profiled, and scheduled for management, it is distributed to a destination for use.

Destination connections to your data products must be set up and configured. Depending on the contents of your data product, you may want to set up a target destination that is either file-based or residing in a queryable database.

Destination Selection

Multiple client-hosted destinations are supported. Each destination has different credential and, for some, infrastructure setup requirements.

You may use a destination to test a deploy or for production delivery purposes.


Testing a Connection

Upon establishing a successful connection to your destination, Crux will automatically send a generic .txt file in order to verify "write" capabilities. This should give you confidence that using a newly created destination with your data product will lead to successful dispatch of your files where you expect to find it.
