Crux provides you with an API key right out of the box, ready to be copied and used in your applications.
Access API Key
To access your API key, complete these steps:
First, sign in to your Crux application. If you do not have an account, contact your Crux account representative.
Go to ⚙️ Settings menu, and click on the 🔑 API Keys menu.
Click on the Copy button to copy and make the API key available to all your projects that require it.
You are now ready to integrate Crux APIs into your applications.
Remember to save your API key in a secure and accessible location and avoid sharing it with anyone. If you misplace it, you'll need to create a new one by regenerating your API key.
Regenerate API Key
To regenerate your API key, complete these steps:
Go to ⚙️ Settings menu, and click on the 🔑 API Keys menu.
Click on the ... and the Regenerate API Key button in the top right corner of the API Key dialog.
Copy the new API key value and update your applications.
Note. This operation cannot be undone. Any software programs that use the old API key will no longer work unless they are updated with the new API key value.
