Walkthrough

Follow the instructions below in order to reset your password:

  1. Navigate to the Password Recovery page:

  2. Enter your email address:

    • In the text box provided, enter the email address associated with your Crux account. This will be the email address you used when you first registered for the service. Make sure to enter the email address correctly to receive the password reset instructions.

  3. Click "Submit":

    • After entering your email address, click the "Submit" button. Crux will send a password reset email to the email address you provided.

  4. Check your inbox:

    • Check the inbox of the email address you entered in step 2. Look for an email from Crux with the subject line "Crux Password Reset Instructions." If you don't see the email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folders, as it may have been mistakenly filtered.

  5. Follow the password reset link:

    • Open the password reset email from Crux and click the provided link to navigate to the Password Reset page. This link is unique to your account and will expire after a certain period of time, so it's important to complete the password reset process as soon as possible.

  6. Create a new password:

    • On the Password Reset page, you'll be prompted to enter a new password for your account. Choose a strong, unique password that you'll remember, but that is not easily guessable by others. For added security, it's recommended to use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

  7. Confirm your new password:

    • Re-enter your new password in the "Confirm Password" text box to ensure both entries match. This step helps prevent typos or errors when setting your new password.

  8. Click "Reset Password":

    • After entering and confirming your new password, click the "Reset Password" button. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that your password has been successfully updated.

  9. Log in with your new password:

    • Now that your password has been reset, you can log in to the Crux application with your new credentials. Return to the Crux login page and enter your email address and newly created password to access your account.
