Prerequisites
The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard communication protocol used to transfer data from a server to a client.
Connection Fields
To create an FTP source connection, configure the following connection settings:
Field | Description |
Connection name | Unique name of your connection that you can refer to in the future. |
Connection type | Type of connection: FTP |
Address | Host/Server IP address |
Port | Port number (typically, 21) |
Username | Username associated with this FTP connection. |
Password | Password associated with this FTP connection. |
Enable Transfer Layer Security (TLS) | Select this option when enabling TLS encryption. |
